We also want to acknowledge and document the burial of a time capsule on the grounds of the Carlin Museum. This time capsule was buried in honor of Carlin’s Sesquicentennial Celebration and should be opened in 2069 when Carlin turns 200 years old. The time capsule is buried underneath the Carlin Historical Society and Museum sign and ore cart on the corner of 4th and Cedar Streets. A plaque marks the spot.
